Hey truck guys/ladies...?
I'm looking at a 1999 F250 Superduty 7.3 Diesel. This would be used as a daily driver/weekend workhorse/toy.
My question is: What kind of differentials/gears does this truck come with, front and rear,(dana 44, 60, 70, 80, Chrysler 9.25...)?
Thanks for the help!
Also, if you have any experience with the powerstroke diesel, what kind of MPG where you getting?

solid front axle dana 60
rear axle ford either 10.25 or 10.5 depending on gvw (most are 10.5)
was available in range of ratios from 3.73 to 5.10
mileage varied accordingly

I believe it has a dana 50 front end and ford 10.25" rear end. A buddy of mine has a 2002 with the 7.3 and he's getting around 12-13 mpg around town and 19-20 on the highway.
