NFL PLAYOFFS - Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers (WHO WINS)?

Ok, heres the thing the Panthers are 8-0 at home 10-0 if you include the pre-season the cards are 3-5 on the road, but alot of people are saying that the cards are going to win. The Panthers had an extra week of practice and rest I think there ready. The defensive line is back and healthy, the offensive is good to go and Carolina is coming off an good win against the saints. To sum it all up....The Cards have a two headed monster at wide receiver- Larry.F and Anquan B, the have James in the back field and a veteran QB. On the other hand the Panthers have two headed monster, D.Williams and J.Stewart, also a Pro Bowl receiver and a well experience playoff QB. Overall Carolina should have the advantage considering there at home and fact is Arizona is not a road team they just got lucky against Atlanta because Atlanta isn't a road team and how do u expect a rookie QB to do good on his first ever playoff road game and they only lost by 6. I Think the Panthers will come out like they did against Tampa Bay kind of slow a really close game until after halftime where they just explode with offense and there defensive backs them up. You can't forget that Carolina has played New Orleans twice and beat them both times and the Saints have the number 1 offense also beating the Broncos with the second rank offense and finally knocking off the cards earlier in the year and they too had a good offense.

Panther fans we need Philly to win so that way we can play them at home where we would be 9-0, forget the rematch with New York, think about it would you rather play New York on the road and Carolina is not a road team or play Philly at home and go to the superbowl

Arizona Cardinals: 17 Carolina Panthers: 31 FINAL

Philadelphia Eagles: 14 Carolina Panthers: 26 Final

SuperBowl 43

Tennessee Titans: 24 Carolina Panthers 28 FINAL

The game (once again) will be decided by the pass rush and run defense of both teams. Just like the Atlanta game. The Cardinals defense needs to key on the run for the first 3 or 4 drives and hope that the offense can put some points on the board. By doing that they force the Panthers to pass. At that point they need to pin their ears back and blitz the QB. Hopefully they learned from the ATL game. They played a couple of conservative defensive possessions, dropping back into coverage, not creating pressure, and those were the ones that ATL scored on. I have seen just as many mistakes from Delhomme ,while under pressure, this year as I have from Kurt. The Cards don't have a lock-down player on defense, they have play-makers and game-changers. What do the league's defensive play-makers (Ed Reed, A. Cromartie, Bob Sanders...etc) thrive on? Aggressive defensive schemes. Making the QB make decisions with only the help of his pre-snap read. Also, people keep talking about the Saints games like they mean something. The Saints don't have half the playmakers AZ has on the defensive side of the ball. As a matter of fact, niether of the teams the questionaire mentioned (Denver, New Orleans) can play play a lick of run D. If anything, that is the Cards defensive strength. Also, if they play aggressive, blitzing defense it helps the secondary become more effective. DRC is becoming a very good CB, and anytime Antrel gets his hands on the ball it's a touchdown. Also, like I said before the ATL game... BEWARE OF THE PASS SETTING UP THE RUN FOR ARIZONA. The draw gained some crucial yards in the Wild-Card game, and if you think Edge had a chip on his shoulder last week, wait til kickoff, this is the team he was beched against. GO CARDS!!!

Carolina will not win the superbowl. (go cardinals/eagles). My predication will be cardinals vs eagles, where the cardinals will take vengeance on the eagles for the thanksgiving game and james will run the game winning touchdown in the superbowl.

Panthers are going to crush the Cardinals... you way over analyzed. Panthers will also win a close game over whoever wins the Giants/Eagles game. Unfortunately, they will lose to the Ravens in the Superbowl.

The Panthers will win this game with the largest margin of victory of any team playing this weekend...Jake Delhome is showing the Tommy Johns surgery isn't effecting his play, Steve Smith is still beating double coverages like its pie and single coverages like its cake, and Deangello Williams is a top notch halfback in the NFL who is slept upon a lot. Carolina will win this game with relative ease.

Well, this should have never happened. Falcons were the better team, and lost to the Cardinals (of all teams >:() And then they could have beaten Carolina.

Anyway, I say Panthers will win easily and will lose to Eagles.

    Panthers.

Cardinals cant stop the run (ya, they stopped it at atlanta but theyre not consistent enough). The recipe for winning in the playoffs is a good running game and defense. We got (the REAL) Smash and Dash (but r defense could use some work). Plus, look at Delhommes playoff stats- OFF THE CHARTS!!! And remember Steve Smiths remarkable playoff run in 05

    Panthers 34-24

    GO PANTHERS!!!

    SUPER BOWL 43 CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
