Who wins in the Ravens vs Titans AFC Divisonal Playoff game?
Who wins in this game, and in what kind of game.
I'll say the Titans will be ready to play the Ravens. It wasn't a fluke that they beat the Ravens earlier this year, Steelers even without two of their top dline players, and won 13 games. They have a top ranked defense that can make Ravens Rookie QB Flacco make mistakes, and make it way tough for him to come back espcially since it's a home game for the Titans.
I think the Titans will jump over the Ravens early, make them play from behind and the Titans top ranked tenacious defense will make Flacco look terrible. The Titans are ready to shut up doubters and prove they are the real deal by hitting around a tough Ravens team.

I think the Titans will win, because for one Joe Flacco is a rookie and doesn't have much experience in the playoffs. Kerry Collins on the otherhand took the NY Giants to the Super Bowl, and the Carolina Panthers to the NFC Championship game...Titans: 28 Ravens: 10

I know the Titans are a great team but the Ravens will win this game 24-10 and break the Titans hearts again like they did in their 2000-2001 Super bowl run. The last time Kerry Collins faced the Ravens in a PLAYOFF GAME was in the Super bowl in Tampa 2001, result 35-7 Ravens. Collins was pounded into the ground by Ray Lewis and company that day. He threw several touchdown passes to the Ravens defensive backs that day, just like he will this week. Just ask Ravens safety, Ed Reed, who was quoted as saying "tell the Titans the Ravens are coming".
The "Mighty Men" of Baltimore will again pound the new and improved Kerry Collins, the self confessed, drunk, racist, quitter, as they did that Super bowl Sunday. When the Titans beat the Ravens earlier this year he had a passer rating of 52 and threw 2 interceptions.
I watched the Ravens dominate the Titans for 58 minutes that day and only when the ref's blew an illegal procedure call against the Titan's and compounded it with a roughing the passer call that never took place on a 3rd down and long. On that play Collins threw the ball 10 yards short of his receiver only to get to a first down on the questionable ref's screw up.
I know the Titans won that game 13-10, but it was early in the year, (5th game) and Joe Flacco was still learning his limits. Since then Flacco and Ravens crushed the Dead Skins 24-10, the Eagles 36-7, Dallas 33-24, Jags 27-7 and just yesterday the Dolphins 27-9. This week, Joe "Cool" Flacco will throw 3 touchdowns. Sorry, but the Titans will end up just being another speed bump in the road for the Ravens on their way back to Tampa and win another Super bowl against the same Giants like they did in Super bowl XXXV. I have already booked my hotel and airfare for the Super bowl.

I have been to EVERY single Titans game since they came to Nashville... I was at Super Bowl XXXIV when the Titans came up a yard short of sending the game into overtime... left me heartbroken :(
When Flacco plays good teams he does terrible. He threw at least 2 picks against the Titans, Colts, Giants, and Steelers in the regular season. Kerry Collins will probably throw a couple of picks in this game, but look back to the 2003 season when the Titans played the Ravens in the playoffs (in Baltimore)... I was also there... McNair threw 3 picks and the Titans were still able to manhandle the Ravens. Theyshut down Jamal Lewis who, that season, broke the NFL record for most rushing yards in a single season. He had maybe 40 yards.
This game will be an all out war... a defensive battle throughout. Special teams and field position will be the difference maker.
I definitely don't see the Titans putting up 31 on a stout Ravens defense, but I do see them getting it done when necessary. I'll be at the game I'm going to be as pumped up as I've been in a long time.
If you're looking to bet on this game, don't do it. Too many different things can happen.

This game is going to be very close. Both teams are excellent so I'd say whoever wins will do so by 1-3 points. I;d say the Ravens are the more impressive team considering they have the rookie coach and rookie qb and have managed to get this far. If they win against the Titans, they'll be no stopping them. Defensively, the Ravens have the advantage. Offensively, probably the Titans. Who will win - hard to say. I'm rooting for the Ravens but am not cocky enough to predict an annihilation. Both teams are really good and neither team is dirty. That distinction belongs to the infamous Pittsburgh Steelers.

Both teams have a good D. It is going to be game of defense. I feel the vet Collins has the experience over rookie Flacco and the Titans will beat the Ravens. I've been waiting since Steve McNair was QB for the Titans to make it back to this point.

the titans defense is 9th. thats not top ranked. top ranked is 1st through 3rd.
Passing Rushing
1.Steelers 1.Vikings
2.Ravens 2.Steelers
3.Eagles 3.Ravens
4.Buccaneers 4.Eagles
5.Cowboys 5.Bears
6.Colts 6.Tennessee
7.Redskins
8.Giants
9.Tennessee
The cardinals have a top ranked defense too theyre 16th....
1st -3rd.........Ravens have a top ranked D
. ed reed is hot with 11 picks on the season and 2 in each game since idk when. ray lewis is a veteran leader who will stop chris johnson and lendale white. and that'll force the titans to throw and the ravens wwill get a pick. for everone who says ravens will choke on offense... they ahve 2 offenses.
the ravens have gone 9-2 after starting 2-3 while the titans have ended 2-3. the Ravens have blown out the eagles and they ahve defeated the cowboys during that stretch in fact they got mcnabb benched. so im gonna say ravens.
the only thing about tennessee that stands out to me is the win over pittsburgh and that is something baltimore couldnt do.
home games obviously do not change how the ravens play so that does not come into consideration.
Flacco average game. McGahee and White are gonna kill while mason catches important ones. on the defense ray lewis suggs johnson and ngata will wear down the titans. the corners will get their interceptions after the running game has been stuffed.

I actually have the Ravens upsetting the Titans. The Titans have a good defense, but Baltimore has a much much better defense. This will be a defensive struggle, and I can clearly see where the Ravens have an advantage.

The Titans defense is No 2 where it counts and that is points allowed. That No 2 spot is even after they rested most of their good players and allowed Indy to score 23. The Ravens have a good defense just not quite as good as the Titans. And the only way the Ravens could beat the dirtiest team in the league is if they play themselves.

Of course I got the ravens. Yes Joe is a rookie quarterback, but he already passed Big Bens rookie wins in a season. second Collins is trash, they only got the run going for them and they have no good recievers. The Ravens D is number 2 in rushing D, you also can't mess with Scott, Suggs, R. Lewis, Ed Reed, Price, Ngata.

everyone is giving the ravens hell..Still!!!! did anyone think they were going to make the playoffs...no?
and they did...and you still think they wont win? They lost by 3 last time to the titans...this time its for blood and i see ravens beating the titans, grazing over either the steelers or chargers and beating giants in superbowl (or eagles whichever).
^^better if its them. I think Mcnabb remembers the last game he played against the Ravens.
