How to find out about someone who was in an Orphanage in about 1908?
Ok so I am trying to do my family tree and I found out the my Great Grandfather was in an Orphanage in about 1908 in Huntsville, AL and I have searched online and I have not been able to find much. Any help or advice would be great.

Well I found out that they were in an Orphanage around 1914 but he was out before 1920 and living with his Uncle. Thanks though

If he was still there in 1910 you can search his name in the census of 1910 and he should pop up as an inmate of the orphanage. Also, check the Huntsville Historical Society for the names of orphanages that were there in the early 1900's. They also may have lists of orphans that lived in the orphanage as well.
