Ok so I am trying to do my family tree and I found out the my Great Grandfather was in an Orphanage in about 1908 in Huntsville, AL and I have searched online and I have not been able to find much. Any help or advice would be great.

I am a very giving person and feel like just the two nice words Thank You come with fewer people now days. So in return I have decieded that I am not going to be a giving person anymore. It actually makes me cry because people are not thankful for what you do for them so I am not doing for the non-thankful. Is that wrong?

My GI took me off the entocort and other crohn's meds and has started me on librax to see how it works. Just wondering how it has worked for others? Did you have any side effects and if so what?

I was diagnosed with Crohns in oct '05. I have yet to be in remission for longer than a week or so at a time and I am at my wits end. I feel as though I am going crazy. I hurt and am have nasuea 24-7. Which means i have a hard time sleeping. I am going to the bathroom so much it hurts. Yes I have been doing this for a long time but I feel as though I just have no fight left. I am soooo tired. Any advice and people to chat with that are going through the same thing would be great. I have been down for weeks and just can not pick myself up. thanks in advance.

btw yes i know about ccfa, crohns sanity, healingwell and most other sites. And I have been on most of the meds and am now on entocort.

Does anyone know where you can get old original fbi wanted posters? I know ebay but I am looking for other places also..

Just wondering how many people here sleepwalk and if you do what is the strangest thing you have been told you did?

I have been known to sleepwalk my whole life.

My strangest story as told to me by my now husband goes like this

My husband woke up hearing the door handle rattle. When he made it to the livingroom he found me standing their in a tee shirt and my undies with a stuffed animal and his car keys in 1 hand and my cell phone in the other trying to get out the front door. He apparently scared me cause i started running around the living room like a mad woman knocking over our christmas tree, breaking a leg on our coffee table, knocking over plantstands and everything else in my way. he then tackled me on the couch and told me to go to be which i did.

I have also ate, drank, sang and watched tv in my sleep.

We already have a boxer named Cooper and we are adopting a Boston Terrier on Friday. He has been abused and neglected. He is only 3 y/o but looks 6-7.. We are thinking of naming him Mini Cooper (since a boston terrier looks like a mini boxer) and calling him MC. Just wondering what everyone thinks of that.. I am also up for other names I just cant think of any good ones..

Oh so this is what has happened.. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Well my dr sent me to a gi who could not fix me so he sent me to an IBD specialist who said even though the ct entogeraphy (sp) showed inflamation and mucus consistant with cd and they was inflamation in my colon and stomach the biopsy says that it is not crohns. Now my thought is unless they can biopsy every single inflammed spot how can they say for sure that is not crohn's. He said he thinks it is IBS now and put my on antibiotics used to treat e-coli (which i do not have). He said if that does not hurt he will have to send me to another gi who only does ibs..

Ok so to sum up.. Is he just giving me the run around cause he does not want to take the time to help me?

What do I have? I am confused... Is anyone else going through this..

Just wondering since I suffer from Crohn's.. It is always nice to be able to talk to others with IBD..
