How much are the motorcycle meters in san francisco?

I am broke and decided to start driving to work on my scooter. How cheap can I find parking looking to pay less than 3 dollars otherwise I would take the bus since its cold.

Any info for parking downtown San Francisco would be cool.

In motorcycle-only parking areas it's like ten cents an hour. I don't know how long you can park there continuously, though. There's one meter for all the spaces and you punch in which space you're in. When I go to the city, about half the time the meter is broken so I don't pay at all, and I've never gotten a ticket. But parking there all day, every day, would be more of a risk.

There's a map here showing all the M/C parking spaces.
