    Heck no.

A Christian is a person who believes that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again on the third day.

The qualifying factor, however, is that they have to actually BELIEVE it...not just intellectually agree.

It's sort of like, if I ask you "do you believe that it's relatively safe to jump out of a plane, as long as you have a parachute?" Pretty much everyone intellectually agrees with that.

But then ask them to follow through...and watch how quickly they back down!

Real faith is ALWAYS expressed in actions. That doesn't mean the actions save us...just means that real faith is always expressed in actions. Period.

You can't believe something, and it not effect your life. Our beliefs determine our actions.

So, watch how they live...that will always show you who really believes...and who is giving lip service.

No... the bible even says so

"Not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven."

No, instead only those who truly lived for God. Not just claimed to be a Christian but actually lived as Christ would want. But also surrender completely to him. Jesus said "What ever you did unto the least of these you did them unto me."

The bible is clear who goes to heaven, heaven is not for humans, heaven was inhabited first, these angels see the earth prepared for man, Job 38:4-7,30-32,

Jesus came and he will have followers, many of these followers will be killed as Jesus was killed to keep the word of God alive as Jesus did, the reward of these is to be with Jesus in heaven, John 17:1-26, Jesus was with God before the world was, John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

    Acts 2:27-35.

so after he was here he went back to heaven, Jesus will be at God's right hand until Satan and 1/3 unholy angels are cast down to be under the feet of the raised up heavenly, Rom.16:20, Rev.12:3,4,6,7-12, So Satan and unholy angels will be down, John 6:39,40,44, 14:3, the place is prepared for the heavenly to be raised up at the last day, Rev.14:1-6,7, Rev.20:1-6,12,13, so

at his 2nd coming the heavenly firstfruits for the new heavens are with Jesus, to resurrect the earthly 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53, for the new earth, 2Pet.3:13, Rev.2:7, 21:1-5,10, 22:14, Rev.3:12, COMING DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN FROM GOD, Heb.12:22-24, Jesus makes all as new as before Eden.

I find it incredibly ironic (and sad) that a Jehovah's Witness (who must deny the deity of Jesus Christ) would quote Matt 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven."

Some folks believe that there was a Jesus Christ. They believe he was good, and a great teacher. They believe He died on the cross for men's sins. But they think He was a special creature, created by God. As devoted and sincere as they are, they miss the point.

That was not how the Writers meant it.

You must call Him YOUR Lord, Your Master, and Follow Him Completely. If you do, then you are going to Heaven because you Did what he Asked and you were able to Claim Him as Your Lord.

Calling someone Lord back then is 100% different than calling someone "something/anything" you like, today.

no.there are many religious people, claiming Jesus, who go to church every Sunday, for example. They may know ABOUT Jesus but they do not know Him. THey have not been saved, therefore have no personal relationship with Him, therefore they cannot get to Heaven. You cant get there by works.

    John 3:3

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "

    Matthew 7:21-23

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Nope, the bible says in a passage that Not all who call "Lord Lord " will be saved. Jesus will say " I do not know you!"

Who are these people ? People who say that they are Christians but live Godless lives.

No, Revelation makes that clear. It's not that you call Jesus Lord, it's that Jesus is your Lord. There's a difference.

    NO.

(Matthew 7:21-23) “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

    ARE YOU OBEYING

    Matthew 28; 19,20?

  • Understand that without CHRIST IN YOUR LIFE you will go to hell by default. But just calling him lord doesn't necessarily mean that you will go to heaven. You must be saved, than you will go to heaven.
