It depends on the asker. There are some women with legitimate conception questions and they just want to know if someone else has been there.
What bothers me are the idiots who can't even spell the word "pregnant" properly and haven't bothered with a home pregnancy test. Particularly the ones who say that they haven't tested themselves because home pregnancy tests are too expensive and seem to think that Yahoo! Answers is a cheap and easy way to find out if they've conceived. Dollar stores sell home pregnancy tests, ladies. And if you can afford your daily frappucino, you can afford an EPT.
For the most part a lot of these questions are sad because they show that today's teenagers and young adults have almost no sexual education and haven't the faintest idea how their bodies work or, in some cases, how babies are made.

Well what if someone bought a test and got a positive and then a few days later got a negative and then another positive...I mean sometimes womens hcg levels just don't build up I guess and it causes a lot of confusion.
Oh and free clinics are usually full and the staff on hand are usually grumpy and overworked so asking them is a HUGE waste of time. Y!A is a better resource for difficult questions.

Personally, I'm kind of sick of "Are you sick of could I be?". This is the pregnancy section. Some people just need a little advice or comfort. Maybe they just want others opinions. Maybe it is too early to test, or they have to wait until the next day to go get a test. Whatever the situation. If u r tired of those questions, please don't read them or answer them. The people who ask those questions don't need rude remarks. I'm sure some of them are nervous, and some are really hoping they are cuz they have been ttc for a while. It doesn't really matter what the deal is. It is their 5 points.

LOL, I think women just want to find some positive reinforcement. I dont see anything wrong with that from time to time. But it does sometimes tend to get a bit annoying. And they all get the same answers, "take a test". Regarding your question about birthcontrol, I know that planned parenthood offers free birthcontrol with girls that dont have health insurance. At first you have to go through all the testing though, however its a small price to pay in the longrun.
