i am not able to install yahoo messenger........???

It could be several problems. Yahoo is having a lot of problems and it is affecting a lot of people in different ways. My problem was Vista and IM9 do not work well together. I switched to IM7 and I am not having any problems now. You might want to go to their messenger website to see if you can figure out your problem.
