how to display a trumpet?
my boyfriend has a nice trumpet that he used to play; he doesn't so much anymore. but for his birthday i was going to get it polished and get a display case for him. do you have any suggestions for display cases that have worked for you? or any other creative ways to display a trumpet? how to polish? i never played an instrument so i'm not sure exactly what is involved in this whole thing. any websites listed would be appreciated. i'm trying to figure out if this is too much for my timeline. thanks!

Be very careful of polish: the trumpet is probably lacquered, and polishing will remove the lacquer and cause severe discolouration.
I suggest you contact a music shop for advice.
Best of all, get him to start plaing again!
