How long would it take to train for a half marathon?
If you were to start from absolutely no cardio ever, how long would it take to get to a point where you could comfortably complete a half marathon?

Depends on if someone needs to lose weight as well or not, and if cardio is simply not present or if someone is fairly out of shape as well.
Also depends on if primary goal is completion whereby a run-walk might be satisfactory, or if they really want to run the entire thing.
If someone's not too far out of shape and some walk breaks are acceptable, I'd ballpark 6 months. If someone needs to lose some weight, improve diet, and really wants to run the whole thing "comfortably," I might allow a year or more to get there.

i will say to finish it without stopping 5 to 6 months.
