Do you have memories of funny sayings your grandma or grandpa would always say?

Yeah that gave me a laugh,so many memories! She didn't like a bunch of questions and I was always full of them,one day she told me to get a bag and put them all in there and save it for a rainy day.So being the brassy kid I was I said ok grandma which one the paper bag or the flour sack? ! To that she answered one more back talking today and you will be cutting me three willow branches.That meant get quite or else. One day while walking to church we had to past the Black church and they were singing and shouting and it sounded really good with loud music so I said grandma why can't we go to this church it sounds like they have more fun than we do? She just looked me square in the eye and said we don't have a hat! I guess you can tell I loved my granny and she was just so down home person nothing fazed her at all.! Shes been gone many long years but I can still hear her talk.Thanks for the great question! And the Memory.

My Grandfather used to always give us girls a hard time. There were plenty young grand daughters for him to deal with. So he would always tell us that we needed to keep a nickel between our knees. In other words he wanted us to keep our legs closed. Funny. Rest in peace Pa Pa.

My grandfather also said "That's ugly," and my grandma said "Cool Whip" just like Stewy from Family Guy.

yes my Gran used to always say to me ( a frog can jump and croack and swim around but it can never settle with a fellow mate for its whole life0 i dont really know what it means though strange isnt it ha ha ha
