WHEN will Palin stop playing the victim?

I am so tired of Sarah Palin playing the victim!

First she blamed Katie Couric for not being able to answer the question "what newspapers do you read".

She blamed McCain for not letting her "be herself."

She blamed the liberal media for her not knowing that Africa is a continent.

The list goes on and on... NOW THIS?

Levi Johnston got fired from his job because he lacks a high school diploma, a requirement for his job.

Palin says it is a "political potshot".

Levi's dad is angry because with media attention "He has to do everything by the book now."

Obviously, this requirement was "overlooked" because he is going to be Palins son-in-law. He got caught, and SOMEHOW its the medias fault.

Can't she take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for anything? She blames every mis-step on someone else or the media.

When will she step up to the plate and stop playing the victim?

She should rise above the fray and this boogy man liberal media and act like the pitbull she once said she is.

Update:

I'm not sure how to ignore someone who puts herself in the spotlight at least twice a week.

I'd like to ignore her, but she IS a part of the political landscape now.

I guess the right-wingers here can't say the "liberal media" is ignoring her.

Oh these Righties are just too much! If a Dem said this '"He has to do everything by the book now." we'd never hear the end of it. Hannity would devote hours to it on his program.

She playing the role of Stain Joan of the far right of the GOP. Blame no one but John McCain in picking Palin for the loss in 2008.

I don't think that Sarah Palin knows the difference between good and bad press. Press is press, and she's got a real appetite for it. The Sarah-bots can't see past the end of their noses and the rest of us just shake our heads in disbelief. Regarding her son-in-law - we already know she is unethical. This shouldn't have been a surprise. I don't know though if she is acting less like a pitbull than she used to. Pitbulls don't let go and they don't know how to differentiate between right and wrong - nor do they care. That seems to describe Palin very well right now.

    EDIT:

Some of the answers here are unbelievable. Let Sarah alone, ignore her, you're obsessed with her and ad nauseum. Please people. She not only chases the spotlight but feels she has to stay in it so when God opens that door she can walk right on in. So which part would they like us to ignore? The part that shows she is unethical, the part that shows she thinks all press is good press, or the part that yearns to stay in the spotlight no matter what. Oh yes, it's just us being obsessed with her - it couldn't possibly be Sarah inviting it all.

"WHEN will Palin stop playing the victim?"

    She isnt playing the victim.

"I am so tired of Sarah Palin playing the victim! "

Wow. What a bunch of strawmen

From wiki: A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position.

"First she blamed Katie Couric for not being able to answer the question "what newspapers do you read"."

No she didnt blame couric. She was angry that Couric was asking such stupid questions.

"She blamed McCain for not letting her "be herself.""

    No she didnt.

"She blamed the liberal media for her not knowing that Africa is a continent."

Er, no she didnt. And that "Palin didnt know that africa is a continent" thing turned out to be a hoax.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/13/arts/television/...

She never said that, so she couldnt have blamed the media, nor did she. Just another one of your strawmen. Read: lies.

You should have known that the Africa/country meme was a hoax. But you didn't. So you used it to pretend that Sarah played the victim card on that when she didnt. You have only managed to expose yourself as a liar.

"Levi Johnston got fired from his job because he lacks a high school diploma, a requirement for his job. Palin says it is a "political potshot".

WRONG. She is not calling the firing a political potshot at her. She is refering to the attention the media is providing to Levi only because of who she is and her connection to him. She is calling the reporting a Political potshot. Which it is.

"I'm not sure how to ignore someone who puts herself in the spotlight at least twice a week."

She doesnt. The media puts here there whether she likes it or not.

I have noticed that it is actually the abusers that scream the loudest . This really came to Light when Republicans lost the election. Considering that Palin kills for sport (and fun ) I think she gets off lightly.

    My opinion.

Knocked up daughter of a VP candidate. I am guessing that has something to do with the spot light. As for Sarah's comments? She doesn't abide by any rules when it comes to doing her job so her son in law should get a free pass too.

If Sarah Palin was any kind of parent, her daughter would not have been impregnated by some loser who didn't finish high school.

if obama's granddad was any kind of man, he would not have let his daughter get impregnated by a loser black guy that ran off when the baby was born.

that's a fact you can look up. that why he was raised by his grandma.

Why is a parent mad that their child has "to do everything by the book?"

Maybe if the parent would've put the expectation bar a little higher he wouldn't be a grand-parent.
