Is the wrist a good place for a tattoo?
(For a girl)
I really just want something with stars. I am going to a medical assistant. So I'm a little reluctant to get the tattoo there.

You should think of your career first before getting a tattoo you know may have to be covered in the summer months with a long sleeve shirt. A co-worker at the firm I work for has to wear long sleeve shirts or a sweater in the hotter months to cover her tattoo and it looks like a Tiffany & Co bracelet that she lost her father gave to her. I thought it was cute but they have a policy and they cannot show. So think about that and think of the design you will want as well.

As a woman, I would tell you to think this one through. In the professional world they are not really acceptable. The motto (if you think ahead) that if you are going to wear short/no sleeve shirts or short skirts as an adult, your tattoos should not be visible. The wrist is a very visible area and may keep you from a good job in the future. Also since your wrist is an area close to the wrist bone, if you have thin wrists, you will probably really feel it. I myself feel that although some are done artfully, if you must get one, get it on your back below the shoulder blade or on the small of your back or your hip.

Well it depends on what you get, and it also depends on what kind of work you are planning on doing later in life. Some employers will not hire you if you have visible tattoos. I wanted one there but I am applying to be a teacher and you can't have any visible tattoos.

It depends on the design....if its on a smaller scale it should be ok...also, take note that tattoos on wrist hurt more than the more fleshy part of the body...also, there are lots of movement going on in that area so it might require touch ups in the future..

i personally don't think that the wrist is a good place for a tattoo because of the fact that if you decide to work in any decent place to where your wrists had to be seen it dosent seem to look to representive.

I personally prefer tattoos on people's wrists. To me, they look a lot more thoughtful and evocative than normal arm tattoo's.

Depends on what it is, what you want to do with your life and how comfortable you are with having such an exposed tattoo. If your working life allows it and you won't regret it then go for it.

im guessing you mean the bottome of your wrist right?
it hurts, but it's really cute.
me and my friend got "live your dreams" across our wrists in greek writing. it means a lot to us and it's something we try to make sure we do every day.
i would go for it, if its writing it's not that expensivee either.
and you can cover them with bracelets if you dont want anyone to see them. :)
