So we are thinking of offering to a house. It costs $295,500. It has been in the market for almost 5 months. Would an offer of $280,000 offend the seller? How low can you usually go when giving an offer to a house?

So I have a stretchy/knit that is 100 % polyester fabric. I want to sew it with lining. What type of fabric would best work for this? Can I use a cotton knit as a lining for it? Please help. Thanks

I am on an H4 visa and I came upon the freebie industry last month. It is a kind of online business that lets you win cash prizes by fulfilling the required no. of credits and referrals. I am aware that H4 visa holder are not allowed to work. But is this kind of thing considered work since you will not be employed by anyone. Their only requirement to join is must be a resident of USA and Canada. They don't ask for a valid working visa to be a member. I considered this thing as similar to joining lottery, raffles or sweepstakes...and I know H4 visa holder are not prohibited to join things like those.

If I continue doing this, I know that I can win cash prizes over $600 which is taxable already. So am I violating any limitations of my status here?
