Does fingernail polish come out of clothes?

Not very well. Sorry. The only option you have is to risk using nail polish remover. You run the risk of discoloring or damaging sensitive materials though.

It depends on when you catch it. I think nail polish works the way acrylic paint does on clothing. I if you wash it off while it is wet you can remove it. If you catch it once it is dry it sinks in between the fibers and grabs on. I would take it to a dry cleaner and see what they recommend they may be able to tell you how to remove it or may be able to get it out for you.

I've never had any luck removing any type of paint from clothing.
You could try dabbing acetone (nail polish remover) on the spot...but if that fails, try mineral spirits (you can get this at any home improvement store.)
The mineral spirits may remove some of the dye from the clothing, however. Good luck! And use care...as both acetone and mineral spirits are HIGHLY flammable!
