I got a beautiful silk scarf for christmas and it was in a box so it has creases in it

- pleasantLv 51 decade agoFavorite AnswerNo. Put it in the dryer with some slightly damp clothes for ten minutes and remove promptly before the cool down cycle it will be fine 
- Anonymous5 years agoFor the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ayh2O Yes, use the proper setting on your iron and be sure to add water. Other options are putting the silk item in the bathroom while you shower and allow the steam to press out some of the wrinkles. But I suggest taking silk and all delicate materials to the cleaners. 
- Anonymous1 decade agoUse VERY low heat and put a towel over the scarf. Do NOT let the iron just sit on the towel.

- 1 decade agoNO! Don't iron it!!! Steam it! If you don't have a steamer spray it lightly with water and put it on low/delicate setting in the dryer for 10 minutes or until its dry.
