so i was looking at this website(http://dgfasli.nic.in/muscular.htm) and it says:
Calculation of Target Heart Rate (THR)
THR = 60% of Maximum heart rate = 0.6 x (220 – age).
(220 – age = Predicted maximum heart rate)
which means that for u, it should be... 117.6
i think this stands for what your heart beat should be
so this means that you're either overworking yourself or that you're not fit enough.
heart rate of 184 does sound pretty high.
dnt overwork yourself and take it slow.
if you're really unsure, perhaps you should see a doctor to get some proper consultation, cos these things can be pretty serious. but im sure you're fine :)

Depends on what you were doing when that happened. Personally, I would considered that a successful workout.
Seriously, your maximum heart rate is likely higher than that, so if you were going pretty hard, but not to the point of collapse, that sounds about right.
The other question is how did you determine the 184? If you were on a treadmill or bike with a heart rate display, or had your own HRM, sometimes interference from other machines or even fluorescent lights can give false readings. I once freaked out a friend on the next machine when it picked up my 182 while he was loafing and I was in the middle of an intense interval session.

It is high.
But if you were working out and exercising, then its kind of normal.
Because its suppost to be high then.
But just watch your heart rate. Try taking it when your not at the gym. And if its over 120, then tell your doctor.

depends on what u were doing....I'm over 50 and mine goes to 166 sometimes after weight lifting & then running on tread mill...if you are good condition and good health your rate may be ok..how's your BP...nothing wrong with asking a doctor about this, might even be the smart thing to do..good luck with the gym
