Help with a 13 year old brother?

My brother is 13 and wont stop stealing my things. I got a brand new hoody for christmas and he took it and wore it at school. He has done this now for about a year, stealing clothing from my dad and I. Any advice on how to stop this and keep him from stealing.

Just tell him that these things are yours. Maybe he doesn't like his clothes...maybe you and your dad should go shopping with him more. Or maybe he just wants to be like you, he probably is looking up to you like rolemodels, I mean you are his brother, I HOPE your not a girl. And he loves his dad...maybe this is time for some more bonding time? If this doesn't sound like your brother...maybe you should just have a talk with him, you and your dad and brother..

Talk to your dad and see if he is willing to ring the police to ask them to come around and have a chat to your brother (time permitting) about knowing that he is doing this and that it can lead to more serious consequences. *Usually* just having the police show up is enough to scare him.

stealing, not just borrowing?? hmm, well you guys are family. well maybe, you dont want him borrowing your stuff, or taking your stuff.. but, well, maybe you could give him a good beating or what. lols. kidding, maybe you should try better at keeping your stuff for yourself. like, lock your room! lock your closet or what.

you should go with him to the mall and buy things that u would get, but buy it for him.....then probably he will stop since he will then have a lot of nice clothes....
