if you don't have the room, i would reccommend that you just leave them be in the tank. if they manage to survive then they survive, if they get eaten then they get eaten. the female will be having more fry and if you try to save them all you will end up with many, many more fish that you can't keep!

    good luck either way :)

EDIT: big chain stores won't be interested in three fish. they get them in mass numbers from fish farms, and they probably won't want them unless they've already grown to a descent size. you could try a small mum-and-pop type store if you wanted, or advertise in the paper or something like that.

They can live on flake food right now. Take several pinches of it and put it in a plastic ziplock bag. You can crush it up into a powder, which they will be able to eat just fine.

I don't know what size tank you have - I'm assuming 10 gallon if 12 guppies is overstocked. But you'll continue to have fry if you've got a male and a female in there together. Separate the genders as soon as you can - you can have a piece of plexiglas cut to size at pretty much any hardware store, which you can use to divide them up.

You can give away the fry when they're a big bigger. If you've only got a couple of males or a couple of females, it wouldn't hurt to just let them go with the fry. It'd save you the trouble later on.

I would just leave them in the tank they may or may not get eaten. I wouldn't isolate them unless you want to keep them or give them away to somebody. I had to separate my females and males since I had too many baby survivors and way too many fish. I would clean out your filter because the fry might still be alive in there.

Well don't try to put them in a tank with other fish because they will get eaten. Put them in a small tank with just them and an under gravel filter until they are large enough to put in with other fish. For me they were large enough at about 2 months. Feed them flakes crushed up as much as you can.

idk much about those fishes but i saw a few pictures, and those fish seem extremely small to me.

so wouldn't 3 of those make not much of a difference?
