Yeah, I'm with you and we are not a very popular group.
Though I was a Republican years ago.
It's politics and you will bring out the worst in both groups with your answers.
I like Obama, I didn't drink the kool aid tho and refuse to see him as a Messiah. I liked John McCain but couldn't stand Palin. Makes me horrible person I guess.
I voted Obama, and glad I did. But very tired of the stupid crap these politicians get away with.

No, not at all. To do so requires coordination to reach a very specific purpose, but no purpose of specific in politics when you consider all the useless nonsensical crap in legislation these days.
Republicans do not control the government. They lost the White House, haven't had the House in at least a few years, they barely have the Senate, and the federal judiciary is more and more making liberal decisions. so when you suggest they are both playing this game, what incentive to the Republicans have to ensure they "both" keep power?
I am a conservative, and therefore I tend to vote Republican. I do not support Obama in general terms. Perhaps on some issues I will support him, but there are not many. That being said, why would you lose respect for Democrats in general because of the actions of one moron governor? It seems to me the Democrats have been reasonable on this issue.
Maybe you should do what I did and call yourself a liberal. I never call myself a Republican anymore because too often the RNC has come out with positions I don't agree with, or they have supported incidents or individuals that should not have been supported in my view. Therefore I am conservative, not Republican.

I honestly don't have a clue what you mean. I can't see why you hate republicans unless you're going by what the media tells you, and if Obama's you're man for 100% then, believe me, you are a liberal democrat.
As for Good cop, bad cop, how do you make sense of that? Most republicans desire as little government interface as possible, and democrats just want to make a government that "Takes care of you".

You're right. The government should come up with "anti welfare, drug abuse and domestic violence" legislation to combat that. I bet if we give those people free money, they will quit abusing drugs at the same time they quit abusing their wives and children. Sounds like you've got it all figured out. Silly Republicans expect people to work for a living and not slap their wives and children around, and do all this without the federal government legislating it?! What are they thinking?!?!

Both parties are criminal. Obama's election and current popularity is based on a media love affair with the new president but behind this aura, Washington is just as rotton as it was with Bush/Clinton/Bush Sr and so on.
