if it is a BRIGHT red there is a problem and you should have it checked but a pinkish brownish color is usually ok at about this time as 3-4 weeks along is when implantation occurs and sometimes you spot when that happens

I was spotting when I was in the early stages of pregnancy. Sometimes the spotting is red and sometimes its pinky brown color. I was advised not to carry heavy things, not have sexual intercourse for the time being and to have bed rest. Suggest that u do that too. My baby was fine and the spotting went away after 10 weeks. Just remember that its very important to take good care of yourself especially in the first trimester where miscarriages can often happen.

Some people swear that bleeding during pregnancy is perfectly normal but my doctor told me that if I bleed at all that I need to see him or go to the hospital straight away.

Isn't it better to be safe than sorry????

    All the best hun.
