Describe heaven to me?

There was a man who was very wealthy. He prayed and asked God to allow him to take his gold with him when he died. It seemed so important to him that God granted his request. On the day that he died and appeared before the gates of heaven, the angel in charge asked him what was in the bag he was carrying. He opened it and beamed as he showed all that gold to the angel. The angel looked at the gold and then at him, and said, "You brought PAVEMENT"?

It's hard to imagine that what we put so much stock in here on earth, we will walk on in heaven.

I don't really believe in heaven, but I think of being reborn in a different world but very much like ours, except everything is perfect, but we don't really know that because we don't know anything else (i.e, we don't remember this world until we die a 2nd time and then we remember both worlds). So, for instance, there are never potholes in the street. And there is never bad traffic. It only rains at 2 am and there in never lightning. No tornados or earthquakes, etc. No mosquitoes, no rats, no cockroaches or termites. No sickness. Everyone winds up getting a nice, easy job. The bad jobs get done magically. You assume people are doing those jobs, but no one actually has the job. The big question becomes: if you've lived in a paradise without realizing it's paradise, then what do you imagine heaven is?

I know it's said that Heaven is supposed to be Paradise where you stay young and beautiful always and live with no fear because you are in Gods territory but then I think who really knows if there is even a heaven? Im not saying Im doubting anyone's beliefs. It's just my personal opinion so many different stories that seem unreal but then there are some that seem semi-real

If i can imagine heaven.... It is a place surrounded by walls of white puffy clouds, dancing angels, bright light coming from someparts of the place, a very nice and clean environment, with angelic music, and eternal food, wine and children of the blessed. It must be wonderful.

Dark alley ways, homeless sleeping around, getting stabbed by a scally for giving him a bad look or getting jumped for your shoes

Druggies and prostitutes on every corner

Innocent people dieing all over because of war and religion

Your there with the rest of us cus this is the best it will get

15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

heaven is different things for different people

If its made of honey and sugar and stuff i'd get bored after the first year...then what?
