you can plait like the front part of your hair 3 times or more or less. they have to be small plaits and then bring them back so they hand down slightly in a sort of curve and clip them back with hair grips you can do it on just one side, and you can do other plaits that just hang loose beneath the plaits you already clipped back. i do it all of the time reminds me of hairstyle out of lord of the rings

I think wavy or very loose curls with say the front pined back loosely either side with sum really pretty clips, really natural looking!!
try platting you hair when wet in say 4 or 6 plats from root to tip this wil give a great look! good luck!

long curly/wavy hair with a few cute clips and try plaiting your fringe and clip it back.
a bun near the top of your head.
plait (at the back of your head or two at either side)

After you've washed your hair, braid the bottom 2/3rds of your hair in small braids, then let it dry completely. Once you've combed it out, it will be wavy and pretty, and you can add clips, etc.

Just big and messy! Backcombing would look great, something similar to Diana Vickers hair would be really good for a fairy!:

Sorry I can't give you any links but I think that half up half down (if you know what I mean) with like sequins or glitter in would look nice
