Are we to believe that they don't fingerprint when you go to jail (Katherine and Marge storyline, Y&R)?

I know its all fantasy, but its my guilty pleasure. When Katherine was booked into jail, they took her fingerprints. This would have put the mystery about who she was to rest. I hate it that the writers want us to COMPLETELY check our brains at the proverbial door when we watch this show. What do you think?

Exactly. Marge also had a criminal record didn't she? So fingerprinting Katherine would have proved she was not Marge and we could have gone on without all this crap. I am also thinking they would have done a more intense investigation about the accident. And when Murphy said he got Katherine out of a ditch where the accident was, no one paid any attention to him. I hope I am never in an accident in Genoa City! lol.

Oh that bugs me so much I guess the writers think we are all dumb the fingerprints and also people know about DNA today with all the CSI shows on tv get a dam blood test already they keep dragging it out i think I'll quite watching for a week come back and see if something has happened I hope they wake up soon its getting frustrating to watch!

The fingerprints would have solved it all - too easy!! Gosh! I didn't even think of that.

I hate when writers miss details!

It was so weird to me that Murphy didn't say at first "Hey Margie, what happened to your accent?" and one day Murph was talking to Kay about Victor Newman being in the paper - how would Murphy know TGVN but not Katherine Chancellor, she's just as famous of a business person. Ugh.

If there is on ingredient that cleansing soap opera writers are notoriously undesirable at, it would be humour. each and every from time to time, whilst they have a many times extreme character do something out of character, it somewhat is humorous. even with the undeniable fact that, whilst they combat relatively puzzling to be humorous, like with Katherine's kidnappers, it practically constantly basically comes for the duration of as pathetically ridiculous. yet another working example - the finished Susan ingredient from Days of Our Lives...destructive Eileen Davidson have been given dragged right into a ludicrous storyline that would not end. Ugh.

I know and the stupididty of this story really get on my nerves. Katherine was arrested for DUI so her prints are on file, we all know they do this every time you get brought in, this whole thing could have been solved right then and there. You would think you would actually have to prove they commited a crime before you could keep them.

  • I agree and their set up at the jail also allows visits to the cell by any one and it seems any time, when you visit some one in jail you need to be on a visiting list unless you are the attorney and today Gloria asked another prisoner to call her husband does she have restricted phone calls.as long as someone accepts your collect call they don't care who you call or how often. so they do think we have no working brains.

IIIII...... knowwwwww! ha!ha! I was like, "Just yell, bloodtest!" that would prove it to Jill! ha!ha! :) My husband say's I take shows too serious! If they did that then the plot would be over. I love Kathryn w/Murphy too.
