I have a 1979 unused calendar. What year will make the days match up with 1979 ?
Yes, I am cheap! No, seriously, it's and old Mad Magazine Calendar that I found, just wondering about when it will days will match up again. I am guessing 2112, but that would be a leap year?

January 1, 1979 was a Monday.
January 1, 2018 will also start on a Monday, and it isn't a leap year, just like 1979.
Answer:
Keep that calendar for 9 more years.
Edit: If you think about it, a calendar can start on one of 7 days. And you need two versions (one for a leap year, one for a non-leap year). So if you save up a set of 14 calendars that are all different, you'd never need to buy another one! Frugality rocks!
P.S. If you'd planned ahead, you could have used that calendar in 1990, 2001 and 2007. Here's a link to a table of "calendar numbers" for various years.

I believe the answer is 2018. If you look at your 1979 calendar, 1/1/79 was a Monday. 1/1/2018 also falls on a Monday, and neither year is a leap year.
