the idle rpm of my Saturn SC1 '99 is 12,000 - 15000 rpm.how to correct this?
i loosen all the way, the idle screw that control the butterfly in the intake manifold, still the rpm is soo high....I check the butterfly valve in manifold, it is totally close! Just bought 3 days ago.
sorry,it's 1200--1500 rpm

first off i think that you mean 1200 NOT 12000 rpm, and idle is set by a idle air bypass, look that one up.

does your water temp guage work? check the temp sensor and check the air intake sensor

sounds like brake booster or hose to manifoldoff or leaking//// other broke return spring /// bound throttle cable // vacume leak other hose
