What do you think about the Harry Potter series?

ok, the Harry Potter series has ended,

I was reading the Harry Potter series again, so what do people think about how the series is a whole and what things you discovered from reading it the second, third, etc time that may not be apparent.

(I just want to see peoples thoughts and what they saw they didn't see the first time)

What do you think will be next, since Beedle and the Bard came out last month, do you think JK Rowling will just write something else besides the Harry Potter Encyclopedia she talked about

Well obviously you realize the meaning behind Sirius's actions and why Dumbledore has always taken a particular interest in Harry, beides the fact that he's the only one to survive the curse and all the obvious stuff.

I guess Harry Potter was just so well written it seemed like everything fit and made sense perfectly by the end.

But no, I really doubt she'll be writing much again. She's too smart for that. She wrote something amazing, so why screw that up now? Nah, she'll quite while she's ahead, and do fun things for charity and whatnot in the meantime like Beedle and the Bard.

I've read the Harry Potters, and I think they're a wonderful series, but they're a weird mix of magic and modern stuff. Firstly, most of the characters are inspired from Tolkein's Lord of The Rings, and secondly, the stories in the first few books were nice, they were innocent and fun. But after the 4th book, I felt that she continued writing just because she was writing a "Harry Potter" book, if you get what I mean.

I didn't like any of the books after that.

Also, they are too simple. I mean, books are supposed to be more complex, more dark, and thought-provoking. But yes, they're highly imaginative. Though most of the imaginative part was established in the first 4 books itself, and maybe that's why I didn't enjoy the later ones.

  • It's really amazing, 7 of the best books i've ever read, and thats quite alot.

When i read the books again i totally forgot about Mad eye, Dobby and Hedwid dying and then it was really sad all over again lol.

I don't know what else she's going to write but it should be another series.
