don't know who electric supplier is for our property we have just taken on. how do i find out who it is?

If you call 0870 9050 806, You will be put through to a operator who will ask you a few questions ie: address and postcode. Then they can usually tell you who your electric supplier is.

Look in phone book and call the local electric company. Ask them who provides service to the address

When I moved in, I phoned the major companies like British Gas and NPower etc and had success.

just look at the bills, your neighbour may have a different supplier.

ask the landlord or previous tenants if pos.
if not choose who you want to supply you then contact them.they will know who currently supplies you from records/databases
