Will getting Direct TV affect my cable internet?
I currently have Comcast High Speed Cable internet and Comcast phone service. I also have basic cable through Comcast but its a community shared cable hook up, so I dont have a tv service account with them. I am getting Direct TV in 1 week and are curious if it will affect my internet or phone. What kind of hook up does Direct Tv do, do they use my cable outlets?

The should run their own coax, so should not affect your cable internet.

"i'm getting Direct television information superhighway" "for AT&T information superhighway?" nicely, it is it, Direct television information superhighway, or ATT information superhighway? Neither of those are Cable. One is a satellite tv for pc business enterprise, one is a telephone business enterprise.
