Playing Guitar or Playing Guitar Hero?

Although Guitar Hero is highly amusing to play, I prefer playing the actual guitar, though I can barely play it. Being able to play a real instrument proves that you have actual talent rather than playing a game with five buttons that shows that you are good at memorizing which finger hits which button and when, which pretty much tells you that you have good coordination. Plus, what can you do with a Guitar Hero guitar outside of the game? Nothing. Meanwhile, if you're good with a real guitar, you can go pretty far and it's nice to listen to.

They are different things. Playing guitar is different than playing guitar hero. The comparison doesn't work. Some people are not as musical adept at playing instruments as others

Play an actual guitar. Play the game for more fun.

Guitar hero all the way b/c I don't have to do as much work as I would w/a real guitar. also b/c it tells you when to hit the notes and how long to hold them I'd have to learn how to read music to play a real guitar and that stuff makes no Sense to me at all...trust me I've tried.

Real guitar. chicks dig guys who can play an actual instrument not someone who sends 6 hours perfecting a guitar hero song.

i like to play guitar hero because you can play to your favorite song and because i could never learn how to play a real guitar.

definitely real guitar, you can do whatever sounds good to you, and just go with the music.
