java script on a Dell with Windows Vista?

when for instance, if I try to view a YouTube video or such...It tells me that my "java script" is off. How do I turn it on?

I get 64 bit vs. 32 bit message.

Also. active X control bull crap.

My old HP had none of these issues.

I just want to see and listen to classic tunes.

Update:

using Verizon DSL.

    Are you using Firefox or IE?

    Try the brower you aren't currently using.
