Hairy Armpits -- on a Girl?

I think it is ok not to shave. It should be a decision every one should support. Beside the only reason why women shave now en masse is because the razor companies in 1915 wanted to make an extra buck and feed women the lies about how hygienic it is. Remember marketing companies also made people believe that smoking cigarettes wouldn't cause health problems. They can make you believe that the sky is pink if they had enouh money and time. Being hairy is natural. Let your body do what it is supposed to. It is only gross because we were told so. Why are we so obsessed with changing ourselves? Are we that unhappy by just being who we are?

A lower proportion shave their legs (because some have no natural growth on their legs so don't need to shave). 90% of American females aged 15-45 shave their pubic area. The figures in other countries will be very different, because women elsewhere tend to be less hairy than American women and because expectations differ from country to country. On the other hand, American women tend to have much bigger breasts than women in most other countries.

i think its nasty i keep mines shaved. i was in a store shopping one time and there was 2 girls @ the register that was talkin about another coworker and 1 asked me and my friend how do they tell their coworker to shave because it was disturbing cuz she wore them out and because they made her smell we just said that was nasty so yeah everyone think its nasty and can make you easier to smell under there
