Are sternum piercings a bad idea?
I really want to get mine done.
Do you have or know someone who has it done? Any bad stories? Roughly how long does it take to heal?

and yes i mean sternum, not septum. it's like a cleavage piercing.

Um yes. Your sternum is the bone that holds your rib cage together.
That would not heal,it would be a flesh wound.
Wait, did you mean septum?
Those hurt a few of my friends have them.
And they hate them,but my one friend took hers out and it got very infected. I'd pass on it and get a nose stud or a industrial if you want to be different.

Chest piercing would NOT be a good idea, but septum? Hmm (:
I got my septum done last year and it took 6 weeks to heal.
When the guy did it it stung and throbbed but then I sorta didn't feel anything.

rather tongue piercing would not harm in any respect. I rather have 3 tongue pierced, the only factor you will go through discomfort is once you consume.. yet after like 2 weeks it's going to be thoroughly healed.. =) goodluck don't be afraid.
