Senator Al Franken: he's good enough, he's smart enough, and JUST enough people like him!

I'm waiting for Bill O'Liely's head to explode now.

This the greatest moment in Minnesota History since 7 November 1990, the day Paul Wellstone was elected to this seat. I thoroughly believe that Al Franken will be as great of a Senator as Paul Wellstone was, and I think Wellstone was the greatest Senator to serve in the Senate. It will great to once again to have a Senator with true Minnesota values, instead of corrupt, backstabbing, immoral New York values.

at present on the DFL convention: 10:38 a.m.: The linked Press has tale out approximately how in straight forward terms Nelson-Pallmeyer and Franken have been nominated for the U.S. Senate. Mike Ciresi’s call grew to become into no longer placed into nomination. 2:12 p.m.: MN Publius is reporting that Franken grew to become into recommended on the 1st pollwith sixty two% of the vote. No affirmation yet from the rostrum. 2:17 p.m.: Nelson-Pallmeyer is on the rostrum - he’s retreating from the race. As I anticipated, Al Franken grew to become into recommended on the 1st poll. 2:19 p.m.: Al Franken is the recommended DFL candidate for U.S. Senate. Nelson-Pallmeyer is giving an concession speech. remember..it somewhat is persist with the money & All Politics are community...

I love hearing the words "Senator Al Franken." I love the fact that the conservative wing of the GOP is apoplectic about the election results. I hope the legal fight goes to the US Supreme Court where a majority of the Justices apply Bush v. Gore to declare Franken the winner.

Love reading the boneheaded comments re: Bush/vs Gore from the various yokels that responded thus. Every independent tallying of the vote post 2OOO had Bush the legitimate winner. Regardless, even if he did steal it, means his thieves were better than Gore's

Franken: for the first time in the history of statistical probability, the recount of a vote not only favored the initial loser, but favored him comfortably. Possibly due to some votes first forgotten about, but which then miraculously reappeared in the back of a Democratic pollster's car, and some others cast in counties where more people voted than are actually registered. All favoring Franken, of course.

Coleman is absolutely correct saying he intends to take this to the Supreme Court if necessary (Gore did), because it's not about 'sour grapes', but about the very essence of what a democracy is about - the unhindered and objective application of every vote of every actual voter.

He is the new face of the Democrat Party. If you say you are a Democrat you are immediately associated with Al Franken. I hope that will make people wake up.

I think Franken will ultimately be seated in the senate.

Al Franken is probably one of the most foulest people in America, even teaching his 12 year old son about bestiality. Democrats are attracted to the lowest level of life and behaviors. America is in a downward spiral. In the end, disease will be the determining factor.

Goes to show you, even a hack comedian is better to have in office than a republican, or at least the Minnesota voters think so.
