FOUND OUT RECENTLY THAT I HAVE 6, YES 6 BROTHERS AND SISTERS I NEVER KNEW BEFORE. How to tell story?
My biological mom gave me up for adoption when I was 4 months old. I was in a foster home for the next 3 years until I was adopted by Chairman of our school board's family. he and his wife/my adopted mother raised me until he went to prison for being a pedophile. i had always known i was given up, but didn't care to investigate except to look in my adopt mom's highschool annual b/c they (adopt mom and bio mom went to same HS. Anyway, my adopt mom told me i had an older sister, and some where down the round she discovered there was also a set of younger twins and told me. Then my adopt mom found out my bio mom died of stroke. Anyway, it was at that point that I found out her most recent last name. So, i googled the name and a younger sibling--not the twins--a sister popped up, so we got in touch. she came to visit and she brought all of her genelogical research, and we went to visit our mom and grandma's graves. She informed me she'd met the twins, met the older sister i always knew about, but added that the twins were boy and girl, that there was also a son older than the older daughter who i always knew about, and that the baby of the bunch was i boy she hadn't tracked down yet. now i've met everyone except for the male twin and the youngest sibling that can't be found at this moment. ok. i am 34 & just finding this out. our family has a youngest boy, 25 year old boy-girl twins, the researching sister who is 28, myself 34, and the older sis 41 and the older brother 42. The 28 year old and i don't get along unfortunately.
i really want to tell my story where it can be heard, b/c i think this is really interesting and unique but maybe it isn't? i'm feeling blessed to find most of them before they die like our mom i never got to meet. thing is the theory is we are all 1/2 siblings (except the twins obviously) but the 28 yr old & me were given the same last name. Nobody else got this name. Does anybody know how to really contact Oprah or somebody? i've never wanted to do that before, but i think it's a great story to tell. i am so lucky.
to the second person on this list. the thing that is remarkable is the 6 bros and sisters i never knew who were each save the oldest girl adopted out to different families. Next time read the whole question. The man who adopted me & was a pedophile is dead & has been for a few years. Geez.

I agree that you are lucky. I grew up with my grandparents on my mom's side because my parents were really bad parents. I have no kid realtives on this side whatsoever, and always want siblings. About 3 years ago when I was 17 I decided to contact my father (against the will of my grandmother.) I also found out I had 2 brothers and a sister in Texas. I was ecstatic. (even though somehow I knoew they were out there.) They are all 13 and under and are technically 1/2 siblings as we

I wish you a lot of luck on getting your story aired. I have been sending emails to all of those shows for a few years now. I have a nephew I have been trying to find for the last 5 or 6 years. Just keep sending emails. Maybe you will get lucky.

Dale, she said her adopted father was sent to prison for being a paedophile. Not her. Read the question properly next time. Just because her adoptive father was sent to prison for something like that, doesn't mean she is!

why in the world would someone especially oprah help a pedophile do anything, and i hope your family knows about your history so they can keep all their children away from you, at least do the decent thing and let your brothers and sisters know if they don't already about your history, so that their children are not placed in danger by being around you.
