Royal Decameron Beach Resort in Panama?
I won a raffle at a fund raiser to the Royal Decameron Resort and I' m leaving on Sunday. Anybody have any information or experiences they can share? thanks

Good for you. It is a beautiful place. The beach is the main attraction, but the landscaping and the grounds are lovely.
The place is very big and there will probably be over a thousand guests there at any one one. It is an "all included" resort. That means all your drinks at the bars are free. They're small, so you have to go often. Even cigarettes are free, though they probably won't have your brand.
The meals are served in several dining rooms, you pick the one you like and go there. And for dinner, they have "restaurants" that specialize in certain cuisines, like Thai/Oriental, Italian and French. They have two seatings per night and you have to make reservations for the restaurant and the seating you want. Do it early.
They have golf, tennis, horseback riding and a lot of ocean related activities. The water is clean, though not clear as on the Caribbean side of Panama.
They have a disco at night that plays a lot of Latin music, but they mix it with other currently popular tunes. There is also entertainment; shows in the outdoor amphitheater. And Cable TV in your room with some channels in English, though not all.
You will have a good time there. It is a beautiful place.
