sure but they do not report to your credit file. They can be used as alternative trades if need be for say a mortgage loan

Utilities are not considered an extension of credit and are not reported to the credit bureaus unless you default.
As to the Statute of Limitations (SOL), utilities would probably fall under breach of contract for sale of goods and services under UCC.

Utilities typically are not reported on your credit report unless you fail to pay and the account goes to collections.

They should be,, there are many ways a person could get better credit if it was a fair system...I paid off a dentist at $400. a month and no record on my credit,,,just another rip off with this crooked system
