  • What does this mean??????????????????????

Yea I prob should ask the person who said it but that's not an option right now cause they are a sleep. I've been dating this guy for a little over a week now and we had a minor falling out thanks to his "baby mama" trying to drive a wedge between us. Cant go in to too many details cause it would take all week :) any way I get this text from him tonight saying " I want to be with you for as long as I can. If things work out. If you forgive me...... :("

  • Why on earth (besides the obvious)?

Would a guy chose a cracked out meth head of a woman who is essentially homeless and has never worked (she is 32) who will only use and abuse him over a woman who has a job is 4 payments away from owning her own home and loves him to death and would do anything for him. If it matter the girl with the job is 35 and the guy is 37.

Only reason I can think of is he is using drugs himself??

  • The mind of a player. Just how does it work?

Wont tell the whole story here. Not enough time not enough space. Dont know if the girl got played or not. Some of us think yes some of us think no and that they guy just chickened out (he has some self esteem issues) any way if he was playing her why would he do it right up until the day of the date and then back out and not even get anything out of it.

I would think that if the guy were in fact a player he might still have backed out but would have at least have gotten something first.

  • How do you prove you did NOT ever live at a specific address on your experian credit report?

A collection account recently popped on on my credit report, an account I had NO knowledge of. Luckily experian gives address identifier information and the account is associated with an address I have never lived at or ever used.

I believe the address belongs to someone with the same or similar name. My name is very common.

I tried to dispute the address with experian but they are saying I can't because the information was supplied to them by a creditor.

The collection agency does not believe that is not my address.

Any idea how I could prove it? I have lived at my current address since 2005 and this collection was for 2006. Odd how it is just now showing up isn't it?

Anyway my Drivers License has my current address on it but unfortunately was renewed in 2006 so it says issued in 2006.

How could I prove where I lived in 2005 maybe even prior to that.?

  • He cheated on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

So I just found out that my suspicions were true. My guy of 2 years was screwing around on me been going on for at least 6 months. She lives in another state (several hours away) supposedly it was just a one time thing that meant nothing so why does he still keep in touch with her? Because he's a lying sack that's why!

  • So my sister is getting sued?

She was served with papers today. It was in response to a settlement offer she had sent to a collection agency. If she pays in full in the next few days will it still go to court? What about her credit report?

(she may have already been on here asking about this)

  • A confusing student loan situation?

I am trying to help my neighbor figure out what is going on with her student loans.

A bit of history she had defaulted a few years back and very recently completed a loan rehab program. Right before compleation of the program she was offered the chance to participate in the William D Ford Program (what ever that is) She filled out all the paperwork and sent it back. She selected the Income Contingent Repayment plan.

Soon after that she is sent notice that Sallie Mae is the new lender (before finishing rehab it was GRC) and that her new payments would

be $50.08 instead of the $58.00 she was sending to GRC. The new payments were to begin Feb 24, 2009. (she even has a payment coupon book)

She called GRC to see if she still had to pay them in January and was told that she did not.

Then In January she receives some paperwork from Direct Loans (the same paperwork she had just submitted to GRC) She contacted direct loans and told them she had already sent the info to GRC Direct Loans told her that she would need to send the paperwork to them anyways.

Before she could even send it in she gets another letter from direct loans confirming that she has elected to participate in the income contingent repayment program and that her payments would be $0.00 and that there is $0.00 owed.

She calls direct loans to verify who and what she is supposed to pay.

She is told that until consolidation is finalized to pay sallie mae the $50.08. When consolidation is finalized her payments would go to $0.00.

Thing is every income contingent calculator she and I have been too her payment does not come out to $0.00 it comes out to anywhere between $25 and $140.

Can some one shed some light on the real deal here?

    Thanks.

  • The collection agency is not licensed in my state?

I am having a problem with a collection agency. The account is not mine but yet they always seen to validate the debt as far as experian is concerned (transunion deleted no problem) I have asked for validation myself and all they do is send me settlement offers. Why would I want to settle when it's not even my debt?

I have sent proof that transunion has deleted it to experian and they don't seem to care.

Now I find out that the collection agency is no longer licensed in my state.

    What should I do?

    BTW it's RJM Acquisitions.

  • I have a serious problem?

I am being contacted by a legitimate collections attorney. I have no information on the debt only a phone message he left with my landlord. Recently I sent out a validation letter. The same day that was received is the day this attorney contacted me. Do you think there is a connection? How worried should I be? I am scared **** less right now. I have not contacted the attorney by phone (I know better) I sent him an email (I have a copy) asking him why he is contacting me and asked for him not to call my landlord any more. Thanks,

  • My dv letter was refused!?

I have a collection account on my credit file that is not mine so I have disputed it a few times now. They have always been able to verify the debt to the collection agencies satisfaction so I decided to get smart and send them a certified return receipt requested debt validation letter and they refused it. What do I do now besides send proof the the credit bureaus that they refused it?

  • "The desk of Dean Hamilton"?

I had someone call my landlord today and leave a message for me to call back a 1-888 number and left the name Dean Hamilton. I called back and all I get is a voice message telling me to leave a message.

I assume this is a collector. Anyone have any info on him?

The only thing I have in collections right now is a debt that is not even mine and I am currently awaiting validation.

I have been having problems off and on with someone elses file getting merged with mine. What do I do?

    Thanks.

Can a collection agency legally do hard pulls on my credit without my permission?

Recently I notice a hard pull on my credit by a collection agency that I have never heard of and have not received any communication from what so ever. I don't know what the debt is nor do I believe I have anything that would now be in collections. Can they legally pull my report?

  • Time on the job. Is now a good time to move on?

I will be making a large purchase in about 18 maybe 19 months. know that time on the job goes a long way as far as financing goes. I have been at my current employer for almost 4 years now. Some changes are coming in the near future and I just don't think I want to work here anymore. So when I go to apply will 18/19 month at my new job look ok on a credit app? Or should I try and stick it out here a little longer?

  • The loan is in his name BUT I've made every single payment?

So the guy I live with has a loan through American General Finance in his name and for reasons I won't get into here (too long of a story) I am the one making all the payments. If it matter I always pay on time in fact currently I am 1 month ahead. This is doing NOTHING for my credit as my name is no where on the loan. However it is a very good reference for him. What would happen if I were to go to the finance company and tell them I am not one paying and not him? Would it benefit me in any way? I can prove that I am the one paying.

    Thanks
