What is with my 2 PC's?
Both crashed in one week. Now I get I \ O. What is that and how do I fix them?
I checked my email, read a little news, etc, then went to bed. When I woke up, I had the familiar blue screen with the long error message saying the computer shut down to protect my pc.
I have tried rebooting with and without the disk, floppys, repair disk, but nothing works. When I try to reboot off the hard drive, I get the aforementioned I / O > io. I have no idea what it means

Can you specify what exactly happened? And what you mean by I \ O?

Switch the on off switch. OFF - ON
Then run it.
