Your milk could possible come back if you are determined and dedicated. You will need to nurse your baby more frequently and when they are not nursing, you should try and pump/manual express so you will produce more.

Now the first couple weeks are going to be a little hard because it will take a bit of time for relaction....but if you really want to do it...Go for it!

    Good Luck!

  • So it has only being two weeks since you stopped? Your milk will probably still be there a little, of course you can get it back, just start right away pumping and putting baby to the breast at every opportunity, remember that demand=supply so if you keep up the stimulation the milk will come back.

I did that exact same thing. I had to stop nursing for around two weeks. I got my milk back by breast feeding him first for as long as he would tolerate it on each side and then finishing off with a bottle for each feeding. Gradually I increased the amount of time he spent at the breast and decreased the amount he got from the bottle. Also whenever he was just in the mood to suck, instead of giving a pacifier, I breastfed. I increased my fluid intake and significantly increased the number of times a day he spent at the breast. I got it back completely in about a week and a half, no more bottles necessary. I breastfed him successfully for 18 months after that.

up your fluid intake and nurse as much as possible. Also, express milk when the baby is not nursing. Milk production works on supply and demand.
