If £10 is a "Tenner" then why isn't Twenty pound called a "Twenner"?

Just because slang words need to catch on.

So you start calling them Twenners at your end and I will at my end.

When we see somebody goin in the Queen Vic on Eastenders looking for change of a Twenner we'll know we've succeeded! Lol

Fiver, Tenner, Twenner. I like it. And why is there no 15 pound note?

1. Tenner is easy to say - sometimes more so that "ten" or "ten pounds".

2. Though yours is a clever play on words, it would presumably by a "twentyer" - which is even harder to say.
