What's your glasses Rx?

Mine is a -10.5 and im only 19 years old my families Rx is around yours but ive been the unfortunate one i cant even wear contacts no more my eyes are scratched up and i took care of them as long as i have wore contacts so yes it bothers me from time to time knowin that i might be legally blind by the time i am 21

The glasses rx is different to the contact lens rx due to the fact that the contact lens is sitting much closer to your eye (on the surface). This means the power must be changed to give you the same vision. Also, some (now rarely used) contact lenses actually change the shape of the front of your eye (cornea) to create the correct prescription.

im -6:25 -0.25x90 in the right and -6.50 -0.25x90 in the left. i wear contacts most of the time but ive worn glasses for a while and its something ive grown to live with. it does affect my life in the sense that without glasses/contacts i cant see!
