can stockholm syndrome be considered between spouses?
My sister is with the father of one of her two children and until about 10 yrs ago he used to beat the holy living crap out of her by smashing her head into walls,floors,vehicles,sidewalks, basically anything and everything he got near when she talked without his permission or talked back to him but my question is for any doctors that read this could sh be suffering from what we commonly know as a syndrome for people who are kidnapped.

Absolutely -- it would be an even stronger response as the people involved have some type of other commitment as well.

Sounds plausible. That said, why don't you do something about it? I'm willing to bet those kids won't be too fond of their father when they grow up, and they might end up messed up as a result of it.
