Math Help. Just one Question?
It's just one simple question. :P
3(x+5)=30

Distribute the 3 through the parenthesis. (multiply the numbers inside of the parenthesis by the 3)
So it looks like:
3x+15=30
Then Subtract 15 from both sides.
So it looks like:
3x=15
Then Divide both sides by 3 to get the variable by itself.
So it looks like this:
x=5

this is a distributive property question. So you multiply 3 with each of the values in the parenthesis.
3(x+5)=30
3*x + 3*5=30
3x + 15= 30
- 15 -15 <--- inverse property, subtract 15 from each side
3x + 0 = 15
3x/3 = 15/3 <---- to isolate the x on the left side
x = 5

3 (x + 5) = 30 * write original equation.
3x + 15 = 30 * distribute the 3 to the number in the parenthesis.
3x = 15 * subtract 15 from 30 to get 15.
x = 5 * divide 15 by 3.
i hope this helped........

How to work the problem:
Divide 3 from both sides so....
x + 5 = 10
Subtract 5, therefore:
x = 5
