Question for those who play online games?
Online games at sites such as shockwave, playfirst, yahoo, iwin, big fish and more. On these sites they have a way for you to get some games for free. All you have to do is try or purchase an offer they advertise for you to try or purchase. My question is has anyone got a game for free by doing this? If so, was there advertising in your free game or none at all?

Have never gotten a genuinely free game this way. There's always advertising whether it be for the full version of a game, or for other sites etc.. They have no interest in giving you anything for free.
There are pay to play games which you can play for free, but it's hard to find one where free accounts aren't too badly gimped. I stuck with Puzzle Pirates for years before paying for anything there.

There's no point because what you are purchasing from the advertisement would end up costing more than paying for the game, which is safer and quicker.

If you have to buy something to get something for free than it's not really free!
