What good affordable restaurants are in Dallas?

At least one sushi and one barbecue place please. Prefer downtown but not necessary.

Howdy, Dallas. Mineral Wells here. There aren't really any good places to eat in downtown anymore unless you go to the West End. Deep Ellum (east of town) is pretty upscale, but dirty. Stay out of South Dallas (Oak Cliff) unless you know where you're going. Best to go North on Greenville Ave. The farther north you go, the better the places. You should be able to find a sushi bar there. BBque is everywhere. Night life on Lower Greenville was hopping back in the 80s, but I'm sure it still is.

Texas Land and Cattle is my fav steak place, but there are many others.
