What do you think was the biggest factor in Chelsea losing 3-0 to Man U.?

This also applies to their last few horrible games. Is drogba to blame? was scolari a lesser tactician than fergie or rafa? is a midfield comprising of deco, ballack, lampard and obi too narrow? or what do you think is the reason?

The biggest factor was the defense because all the 3 goals came from the lack of defense. I was not very impressed with how Chelsea was going about the game. United dominated from start to finish. But lets see what happens.

There were many factors but I think Scolari was to blame he is just to arrogant and I hate him. Also maybe some of the players werent menatlly prepared because I heard that cigar that was smoked caused a fire and all the Chelsea players were out in the cold with nothing but a bath robe or towell

After going 1-0 down they had to attack in the second half which opened up the midfield for United to exploit.

I hate to play the blame game but I have to say that Drogba was a non factor in that game. Maybe it was because he wasn't getting supplied by his midfielders

well drogba has no accuracy or ball control at all. They have no playmakers and no spark in their game to even contend with manchester united. they have aging players in their squad. Deco, ballack, drogba, and lampard. they need to built again and sell drogba cuz hes not getting it done.

man utd and chelsea are both great teams. both have big threats like ronaldo, rooney, lampard, drogba, and anelka. sir alex ferguson is one of the greatest managers of all time. it must of been some tactical decision gone wrong. i also think drogba was having a rather poor game. the defense needed to predict man utds attack better.

tHE BIGGEST FACTOR WAS THE LACK OF CONFIDENCE chelsea havn't been playing well recently. The manager has little or no respect from his team meaning he cannot get his players phsyched up for a match the whole chelsea team is crumbling before him. in my opinion chelsea hit their peak the seond time they won the league after that its been a downwards spiral. Chelsea only played for Mourinho and the money after that the enthusiasm died down Grant was utterly useless and scholari is too confident in himself that he can't look past his big ego and look at the big picture, he has no world class striker in his teamm ( excluding drogba who wants to leave) and without terry his defence is very weak.

Defense, they Chelsea never mark the end of the post during set peices

  • Well you are asking for just the biggest reason, so I have to say tactics, as encapsulated in: zonal marking and an unbalanced team.

    I could go on adnorsium

Poor marking by the defence, two of those goals shouldn't have been allowed to happen. The defenders just stood there....
