Help, I installed a new ink cartridge in my dell printer, it pops up on the screen no cartridge in printer?

    Try a printer "reset". Here's how:

    • Remove ALL cartridges • Turn off printer • Unplug the printer from the power source for a full 5 minutes • Reverse steps. Plug back in, turn on printer and install all cartridges

    Try removing the cartridge and then putting it back in. This usually works on mine.

    Have you took the tape off the cartridge? if you have then try changing it for another cartridge if you have one, good luck.
