Well if i really needed to add names of metal bands would have added much more then just 14 here are 1486 bands registered on metalarchives

.these are the bands which i had been recommended/heard from someone or i have listen to over the point of time .

alkonost- i prefer their older stuff which is much more on atmospheric side kinda touch of bands drudkh ,nokturnal mortum to it without sounding too cheesy .later on which got heavily keyboard oriented

Shah -one of the 1st metal bands from russia .

Tvangeste-was recommended by a friend .nice display of symphonic black metal .when i say symphonic which doesnt mean agathiodaimon ,demon burger kinda **** .this bands songs are very well structured ,non chessy .much more of extreme metal which seems to be absent in mainstream bands like dimmu . got a reflection of one of the best symphonic black metal Limbonic art . i own Damnation of Regiomontum which is a pretty good album

Aria is like russian jag panzer or manilla road for you. a heavy metal bands which has produced consistently good albums over the years

Catharsis- is what coroner is for thrash . neoclassical grinded with power metal although you can have excellent experience of flute over the journey

Black Shadow-is raw black metal i have heard from russia kingdom of evil which i had downloaded like a year back is a perfect example what you can expect from other albums

Not very familiar with the Russian Metal scene. Butterfly Temple, Catharsis, and Mechanical Poet are the only Russian bands I know.

Off the top of my head, I can remember only 3. I may add more as and when I remember them. The ones I can think of right now are Save Arkona Kartikeya Edit: 7 H. Target Alkonost
